What to Expect

Dr. Lelke’s approach can be distinguished from other licensed healthcare professionals in several ways. She starts with a complete biomechanical, neuromuscular and joint assessment on your first visit and upon the onset of any new condition or injury. That assessment portion then dictates how and where soft tissue modalities like myofascial release, Graston technique, cupping, kinesiotaping, muscle reconditioning, and Active Release Techniques will be applied. These hands-on therapies typically take the majority of the appointment time. Next, she may perform adjustments and joint mobilizations, the bread and butter of chiropractors, which can intentionally range from very gentle to moderately forceful. Her adjustment techniques include Diversified, SOT, Drop table, Flexion-Distraction, Activator, Manual Traction and Manual Mobilization. Finally, a home exercise plan (HEP) is instructed to reinforce the key elements of treatment while you are on your own at home. The Initial Assessment appointment, therefore, is about 50 minutes ($150). Follow-up appointments can vary depending on goals and patient preference. The Comprehensive stands at 25 minutes ($80), Extended at 40 minutes ($120), and the rare Brief at 10 minutes ($50) if only a chiropractic adjustment is desired.
